DUBLIN, Ireland: Europcar has unveiled a significant 100 million-euro investment in its Irish operations, including the opening of three new branches in Dublin, Donegal, and Tipperary. As part of the expansion, the company has also relaunched its Dublin North Cloghran site as a dedicated B2B and Van Centre.
The new locations — in Sandyford (Co. Dublin), Clonmel (Co. Tipperary), and at Donegal Airport — are now fully operational. Together, these branches have created 15 new jobs, contributing to local employment and expanding Europcar's services across both consumer and business sectors.
This latest move brings Europcar's total number of branches in Ireland to 28 and is part of a broader strategy to grow its footprint and enhance access to mobility solutions nationwide. The company is focusing on providing sustainable, flexible, and cost-effective alternatives to traditional vehicle ownership for individuals and businesses alike.
Paul McNeice, Head of Country Ireland and Commercial Director, said: "We're proud to invest in our Irish operations with the opening of these new branches and the transformation of our Cloghran site into a dedicated B2B and Van Centre. This expansion reflects our long-term commitment to Ireland and our confidence in the country's vibrant economy."
He added that Europcar Mobility Group Ireland remains focused on meeting customers' daily transport needs — from commuting and leisure travel to business fleet solutions and vehicle replacement services — by offering reliable, on-demand mobility options across the country.
