DUBLIN, Ireland: US streaming service HBO Max will launch in Ireland and the United Kingdom in March.

Along with HBO shows, the streaming service will also include movies and series from Warner Bros Pictures, Warner Bros Television, DC Studios, and Max Originals. The full first season of the award-winning Max Original The Pitt will be available in the UK and Ireland version from the day it launches.

The platform will also feature new seasons of Euphoria and House of the Dragon, as well as the first release of Lanterns from DC Studios. Movies will include Superman, One Battle After Another, Sinners, A Minecraft Movie, and Dune: Part One.

Prices in euros for Ireland have not yet been announced, but in other European countries, subscriptions for the basic plan start at 5.99 euros per month and can go up to 20 euros. In the UK, HBO Max will offer four subscription options, starting at £4.99 per month, with full access to its entertainment library—including newly released films—at £5.99 per month.

The service will also stream the upcoming Harry Potter TV series, expected in 2027, starring Arabella Stanton as Hermione, Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, and Alastair Stout as Ron.

HBO Max will launch in Ireland on March 26, and TNT Sports subscribers will be able to use their subscriptions through the platform. Viewers can access HBO Max through hbomax.com and partner services such as Sky and Prime Video.

Andrew Georgiou, president and managing director of Warner Bros Discovery in the UK and Ireland, said the launch is an important moment for viewers. He explained that HBO Max will bring together popular HBO, Warner Bros, and DC content — along with TNT Sports in the UK — in one place at a good value.

He added that it will be the only platform where audiences can find titles such as The Pitt, House of the Dragon, Euphoria, Lanterns, Superman, One Battle After Another, and the new Harry Potter series, all in one place.
